What are you proposing to do?	To obtain approval to bring the existing Selby District Council Environmental Services contract back in-house following contract expiry on 31 March 2024.
Why are you proposing this? What are the desired outcomes?	To provide the best possible platform to manage and implement a single waste collection service across the new North Yorkshire Council area, delivering efficiencies and providing the basis for service consistency.
Does the proposal involve a significant commitment or removal of resources? Please give details.	Yes Service mobilisation will require input from a cross-department working group to include Waste Management, Legal, Finance, HR, Fleet, ICT, Procurement and Communications.
